Care For Your Lewisville Activities
If you live in Lewisville, a sore shoulder or neck can make boating and paddling on Lewisville Lake harder. Lifting and hauling gear may also bother your low back. At Premier Sports Chiropractic, Dr. Lawrence Grimm listens to your goals and assesses your movement. He has been certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) since 2005.
You can make the drive from Lewisville to the North Dallas clinic for hands-on care from Dr. Grimm. ART uses more than 500 specific moves to address muscles and other soft tissues. Depending on your needs, care may include ART, chiropractic adjustments, corrective exercise, or another treatment. The aim is to help you move more comfortably during the activities that matter to you.
Lake Days And LLELA Trails
Lewisville Lake offers boating, fishing, and paddling. LLELA, the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, is a 2,600-acre preserve with more than seven miles of hiking trails, primitive campsites, fishing, and kayaking. Old Town Lewisville is the city’s historic downtown. These outings can involve hauling gear, repeated paddling motions, or walking uneven trails.
Paddling may leave your shoulder or neck sore, while lifting and hauling gear can strain your low back. Hiking at LLELA may aggravate ankle sprains, knee pain, or plantar fasciitis. Dr. Grimm may use ART, movement assessment, soft tissue work, or corrective exercise based on your concerns and goals.
How We Help Lewisville Patients
Lewisville Lake Paddling
Repeated paddling can contribute to shoulder or neck discomfort. Dr. Grimm may use ART or other hands-on soft tissue care to address movement concerns related to your time on Lewisville Lake.
LLELA Trail Pain
Uneven hiking trails at LLELA can challenge your ankles, knees, and feet. Care for concerns such as ankle pain, knee pain, or plantar fasciitis may include movement assessment, corrective exercise, or other treatments.
Hauling Lake Gear
Lifting and hauling equipment for boating or fishing may bother your low back or shoulder. Chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue techniques may help address restricted movement and support your activity goals.
How a Visit Works
1. Evaluate
Your first visit starts with a conversation about your pain, your history and what you want to get back to. Dr. Grimm then examines how you move and explains what he finds.
2. Treat
Treatment can often start that same day. Before you commit, you get an estimate of how many sessions it may take and what it will cost.
3. Perform & Maintain
The goal is to get you back on the field, court, course or trail and keep you there. If you are not improving after a few visits, Dr. Grimm changes the plan or refers you to an appropriate medical specialist.

After years of athletics and daily pounding concrete floors on the job left my husband with loss of flexibility, SEVERELY restricted range of motion, pain and tightness in hips, knee and lower back. Premier Sports Chiropractic treated him with ART therapy. Now he is now standing straight! After only 3 visits!! He has increased range of motion and FREEDOM of MOVEMENT he has been without for over three years. It is absolute heaven to see my sweet husband at 66 years old feeling so good and hopeful about his physical well-being, now. Thank you!
