Richardson Sports Chiropractor
Sports chiropractic care for Richardson runners, athletes, students, and desk workers.
Care For Your Active Life
If you live or work in Richardson, you can see Dr. Lawrence Grimm at Premier Sports Chiropractic in North Dallas. His background includes running cross country for SMU, playing SMU club baseball, and racing with the SMU Cycling Club. That experience helps him understand the demands athletes place on their bodies.
Your goals may involve returning to soccer, running comfortably, managing desk-related discomfort, or moving with fewer restrictions. Dr. Grimm listens to what matters to you and evaluates the areas affecting your activity. Care may include chiropractic adjustments, Active Release Techniques, corrective exercise, or another suitable treatment.
Richardson Trails, Fields, And Workdays
Richardson’s active life includes Breckinridge Park, the city’s largest park, with 12 soccer fields, the Keffler baseball fields, and about seven miles of trails along Rowlett Creek. Duck Creek Trail runs about 1.3 miles, while Spring Creek Nature Area has a 2.3-mile paved loop. Canyon Creek is known for its golf course and quiet running roads. UT Dallas students and Telecom Corridor workers may also spend long hours sitting.
Soccer and baseball families at Breckinridge may encounter ankle sprains, hamstring strains, groin strains, or knee pain. Runners may seek help for foot and ankle pain, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, or limited range of motion. Desk work can contribute to neck or back pain. Treatment options may include ART, adjustments, corrective exercise, or other services.
How We Help Richardson Patients
Breckinridge Field Strains
Soccer and baseball at Breckinridge Park can involve ankle sprains, hamstring strains, groin strains, and knee pain. Care may include ART, corrective exercise, kinesiology taping, or another treatment selected for your concerns.
Spring Creek Runner Pain
The Spring Creek paved loop and nearby running routes can place stress on the feet, ankles, knees, and tendons. ART, adjustments, corrective exercise, and other treatments may help address pain or limited range of motion.
Desk-Related Back Pain
Long hours at UT Dallas or a Telecom Corridor workstation can contribute to neck and back pain. An evaluation may guide care such as chiropractic adjustments, corrective exercise, or other treatment options.
How a Visit Works
1. Evaluate
Your first visit starts with a conversation about your pain, your history and what you want to get back to. Dr. Grimm then examines how you move and explains what he finds.
2. Treat
Treatment can often start that same day. Before you commit, you get an estimate of how many sessions it may take and what it will cost.
3. Perform & Maintain
The goal is to get you back on the field, court, course or trail and keep you there. If you are not improving after a few visits, Dr. Grimm changes the plan or refers you to an appropriate medical specialist.
Getting Here From Richardson
Richardson sits on US-75 just north of I-635 (LBJ). Take US-75 south, stay on it past LBJ, and the clinic is a short way further south near Royal Lane and Walnut Hill Lane. Because it is one highway the whole way, a morning visit can fit before class at UT Dallas or a shift in the Telecom Corridor.

As an athlete, I tend to put my body through a lot by testing its limits… With that comes some body shifts and discomforts at times, so I tend to need regular adjustments and body care.
When I met Dr. Grimm, I was very happy that he too is an athlete and familiar with some of the pushes I put my body through and looked forward to his help with getting my body in line and able to work powerfully efficient so that I could continue with my daily responsibilities and training.
I love the active release technique with the soft tissue before the adjustments, I personally will not go to a chiropractor that does not have some kind of soft tissue work prior to the aligning of the bones and the active release is a great technique, especially for athletes. Dr. Grimm listens to what I have to say about my current or typical issues and then makes his assessment based on that and what he sees through my movements and how my body is currently lining up. Once the soft tissue work is complete, the adjustments take place and I am up and back at my life in full force 🙂
Questions From Richardson Patients
Can desk work at UT Dallas or in the Telecom Corridor cause back pain?
Long hours of sitting can contribute to neck and back pain, especially when you also train or play on weekends. Dr. Grimm evaluates how you sit, bend and move, then may use chiropractic adjustments, Active Release Techniques or corrective exercise aimed at your specific problem areas.
Can I get care for an injury from Breckinridge Park?
The clinic treats concerns including ankle sprains, hamstring strains, groin strains, knee pain, and foot or ankle pain. Dr. Grimm evaluates your symptoms and goals, then may use ART, corrective exercise, adjustments, kinesiology taping, or another appropriate treatment.
Does Dr. Grimm understand running and field sports?
Yes. He ran cross country for SMU, played SMU club baseball and raced with the SMU Cycling Club, so the demands of practices, games and long runs are familiar to him. That background shapes how he evaluates a strain from Breckinridge Park or a sore knee from the Spring Creek loop.
