Plano Sports Chiropractor
Sports chiropractic care for Plano runners, cyclists, commuters, and active adults
Support For Your Active Routine
If you live or work in Plano, you can visit Premier Sports Chiropractic in North Dallas for help with activity-related concerns. Trail running, mountain biking, and long commutes can affect your feet, knees, hips, neck, back, wrists, or shoulders. Care is shaped around your goals and the way you want to move.
If you have tried several therapies without lasting change, Dr. Lawrence Grimm uses the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) to examine whole-body movement patterns. That assessment may help identify movement concerns connected to recurring pain, limited range of motion, or difficulty returning to your usual activities.
Plano’s Trails And Active Life
Plano offers several ways to stay active. Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve has an 8.4-mile trail, a recreation center, and a fishing pond. Arbor Hills Nature Preserve includes a 3-mile paved loop, plus unpaved hiking and mountain-bike trails. The Chisholm Trail follows a creek through central Plano and connects with the Bluebonnet and Preston Ridge trails.
Trail runners and mountain bikers may experience plantar fasciitis, IT band or knee pain, or wrist and shoulder strain after a fall. Chiropractic adjustments, Active Release Techniques, corrective exercise, kinesiology taping, and other treatments may support these concerns. An SFMA assessment can help examine movement patterns.
How We Help Plano Patients
Oak Point Foot Pain
Trail running at Oak Point Park may place stress on the feet and ankles. Plantar fasciitis care may include movement assessment, Active Release Techniques, chiropractic adjustments, corrective exercise, or other suitable treatments.
Arbor Hills Knee Care
Running and mountain biking at Arbor Hills may contribute to knee pain or IT band concerns. Care can include movement assessment, adjustments, corrective exercise, and soft-tissue treatment based on your goals.
Trail Fall Strains
A fall on an unpaved trail can affect the wrist or shoulder. Treatment options may include Active Release Techniques, chiropractic adjustments, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, and corrective exercise for these activity-related concerns.
How a Visit Works
1. Evaluate
Your first visit starts with a conversation about your pain, your history and what you want to get back to. Dr. Grimm then examines how you move and explains what he finds.
2. Treat
Treatment can often start that same day. Before you commit, you get an estimate of how many sessions it may take and what it will cost.
3. Perform & Maintain
The goal is to get you back on the field, court, course or trail and keep you there. If you are not improving after a few visits, Dr. Grimm changes the plan or refers you to an appropriate medical specialist.

Despite all my visits to chiropractors, podiatrists, massage therapists, as well as doing yoga and trying an endless number of stretches and strengthening exercises, I was still in bad shape. Dr. Lawrence gave me a complete assessment and provided me with some exercises that were not in my routine. Within a week I was sitting and standing straight again and my many myofascial trigger points in my back and legs disappeared. I went back to my massage therapist and chiropractor that I have been going to in PA for the last year and they were shocked at the change.
